I hate indecision...

I was reading through blogs, and came across this post, which naturally reminded me of this book list. And in cleaning out all my homeschooling materials, I found this, which I had forgotten I had even purchased (oops)!

I'm thinking a summer of California history, just through stories/books (see book list linked above), and field trips, capping it all off with a field trip to this awesome and relatively new museum. I'd go ahead with it now, but the kids would be disappointed to miss out on their mythical creatures unit... I think.

Does that sound like a good summer plan? I don't like to school heavily over summer, but something fun and not too intensive might be cool.
